As Australia’s oldest cultured pearling business, the story of Cygnet Bay Pearls is steeped in history.

It is no surprise that Cygnet Bay Pearl farm is Australia’s oldest continuously operating pearl farm. It’s not only a great place to grow pearls, but also a beautiful place to visit.

If you get the chance, you are invited to spend a night or two, and tour Australia’s only working pearl farm open to the public.

We are situated 220kms north of Broome Western Australia, at the tip of the Dampier Peninsular.

It’s the beginning of the wild and free Kimberley coast line and the Buccaneer Archipelago.

The Kimberley marine environment has the world’s largest tropical tides and is both a beautiful and harsh environment.

Every wet season from December to April there is the threat of cyclones and all year round we are conscious of the local crocodiles
