The University of Notre Dame Australia

The University of Notre Dame Australia is a national private Catholic university, with Campuses coast to coast – from the heart of Sydney to Western Australia’s historic City of Fremantle, to Broome in the iconic Kimberley region. Established in 1994, the Broome Campus is celebrating 25 years of providing an excellent standard of training for the professions, research programs and cultural awareness training to students in Australia’s North West and beyond. Our Broome Campus is a unique and multi-faceted research, education and training hub offering vocational education and training programs in Education and Nursing and postgraduate programs in Aboriginal Studies. Programs are developed in collaboration with the health and education sectors, and in consultation with community and industry members to ensure that qualifications meet the needs of the both the workplace and the region. Notre Dame’s Broome Campus is home to the Majarlin Kimberley Centre for Remote Health. Its vision is to improve the health of people in Aboriginal and remote communities. The Nulungu Research Institute, also based at the Broome Campus, is focused on three core research themes – Education, Health and Wellbeing, and Caring for Country. For more information visit
